After graduation, I joined the Law Department’s Tax and Bankruptcy Litigation Division. My main responsibilities include representing the City in real estate closings, title clearance and real estate tax certiorari proceedings. I have even been involved with various information technology projects. In addition to my work as an Assistant Corporation Counsel, I serve on the Condemnation and Tax Certiorari committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. I have also had the opportunity to co-author a chapter on Title Objections for a book entitled Condemnation Law and Procedures in New York, published by the New York State Bar Association. The Law Department has been a great place to work, with challenging and interesting assignments, ownership over a vast caseload and an amiable atmosphere.
