Immediately upon graduation, I joined the Family Court division of the Law Department. I was assigned to the Queens Family Court, where I handle cases involving the prosecution of juvenile delinquents. Although I have only been here a few months, I already appeared in court on many occasions and have learned a great deal from my colleagues and supervisors. I chose to come to the Law Department because I am committed to working in the public sector and to ensuring the safety of our community. The Queens Family Court is a very dynamic and diverse work place. Everyday brings something new and interesting to work on . . . never a dull moment here!
