I have been employed by the Interstate Child Support Unit of the Family Court Division since I joined the Law Department in July of 2002. Most of the cases I handle arise from petitions for the establishment of paternity and child support which have been filed by out-of-state custodial parents with their local child support office. I represent the out-of-state custodial parents in court and, on their behalf, seek paternity and child support orders. I enjoy my work very much because it provides me with the opportunity to appear in court often, to engage in motion and discovery practice and most importantly, to help people.
