	I joined the Legal Counsel Division of the Law Department after several years in private practice. In the Legal Counsel Division, I advised the Mayor's office and the City's agencies and drafted and reviewed legislation. After several years I moved to the Appeals Division where I argued cases in the State Appellate Divisions, the State Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
