| | |  | | | After a rewarding summer in 2002, working with the Tort Special Litigation Unit as an intern in the Summer Honors Program, I joined the division immediately upon graduation. I spent the first few months in the Brooklyn Tort Division, acquiring valuable experience writing motions, defending City witnesses and questioning plaintiffs in depositions. Back in Special Litigation, I am now responsible for defending the City against cases ranging from alleged police misconduct to alleged lead paint violations. I decided to come to the Law Department due both to the incredible responsibility young attorneys are given, and because of my deep desire to work in the public interest sector.
