After graduating from Cardozo Law School’s Accelerated Entry Program in January 1995, my longstanding interest in government reform and advocacy lead me directly into public service. I joined the Law Department’s Brooklyn Family Court Division in September 1995, where I prosecuted juvenile delinquents for acts ranging from violent felonies to misdemeanors. I transferred to the Appeals Division in 1997. I now research and write briefs on a wide variety of subjects and issues. I appear on the City’s behalf in the State Appellate Divisions, the New York State Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In recent years, I have also been coordinating an appellate advocacy externship in conjunction with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Back to List
