| | |  | | | I joined the Special Federal Litigation Division of the Law Department directly out of law school. Our division defends the City and employees of the City, including Police Officers, Correction Officers and Fire Department personnel, in Section 1983 Civil Rights law suits. On average, I handle thirty federal cases at one time and have taken over fifty depositions. I am involved in all aspects of litigation including discovery, settlement negotiations and motion practice. I appear before the Federal Judiciary in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York on a regular basis. I enjoy my work at the Law Department because of the interesting subject matter, the real experience and responsibility the Law Department offers and the great people I work with.
