I have worked at the Law Department for 14+ years, and I am currently the Deputy Chief in charge of condemnation in the Tax & Bankruptcy Litigation Division. In that capacity, I represent the City in the acquisition of real property by eminent domain. On a daily basis, I provide advice to New York City agencies on condemnation matters, am responsible for coordinating and implementing acquisitions through eminent domain, and I manage and counsel the attorneys and support staff who handle the eminent domain proceedings in areas of procedure, valuation, and title clearance. Working at the Law Department is both challenging and satisfying. I am very fortunate to be able to say that I love my career and the wonderful individuals I work with in City government.
