The Law Department's Personnel Unit coordinates the recruitment of support professionals, such as Assessors, Auditors, Bookkeepers, Clerical Staff, College Aides, Legal Secretaries, Paralegals, and Technical Staff.
Although the Law Department accepts resume submissions, the vast majority of support professional positions are filled through Civil Service examinations. Accordingly, applicants also should refer to the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services for detailed information on civil service examinations.
