KINGS COUNTY PUBLIC ADMINISTRATOR LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

Today the Kings County Public Administrator launched a new website at www.nyc.gov/kcpa. The website is the first of its kind hosted by nyc.gov and is the culmination of a year-long collaboration with the City University of New York CITY Internship Program and the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications. The site is graphically attractive and features general information about the estate administration process, public auction notices, contact information for businesses wishing to become vendors for the Public Administrator, useful links to other government websites, and commonly used forms.

Public Administrator and Commissioner Gerard A. Cabrera said, "It has been exciting to collaborate with CUNY and DoITT to launch this easily accessible and user-friendly website. It is important that the public learn about the estate administration process, and it is our hope that this website will serve as a great resource for New Yorkers. Our website will also add to our already successful efforts to increase attendance at our public auctions, and improve the transparency of our public auction process."

The website will be updated with new content regularly.
