For the second consecutive year, IMSAL was visited by group of middle school students from MS 192 in Queens. The visit was sponsored by the Doris McCartney Theta Chi Academy Nursing Club at MS 192. “Our aim,” said Patricia Newton, RN, a member of Theta Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, “is to expose the students to health related experiences so that they might consider careers in nursing or other health related professions.” Jessica Pohlman, NREMT-P, IMSAL’s Senior Simulation Specialist, gave the group of 25 students a tour of the faciity and lead a very lively question and answer session following the tour.
