The Basic Airway Skills course is designed to give novice airway providers the skills needed to maximize their potential for intubation success. This course is based upon clinical evidence and expert clinical input on the relevant airway skills needed to be successful and productive during their first years of residency or clinical practice. This course uses both part-task and mid- to hi-fidelity simulators that allow the learners to learn, practice, and assess their ability to correctly use the basic airway tools and skills. This course does not certify personnel or grant privileges to use any of these techniques, nor is this course a substitute for local supervised competency assessment. |
