Kevin Pohlman is a Simulation Specialist for the Institute for Medical Simulation and Advanced Learning (IMSAL). Kevin’s background in medicine is quite varied, having served New Jersey’s largest and most diverse populations in the cities of Jersey City and Newark, as well as their surrounding communities, in both clinical and managerial roles. Kevin is a Nationally Registered Paramedic with accreditations as a Critical Care Paramedic (CCEMT-P) and Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C). With eleven years of experience in emergency medicine, Kevin brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise to IMSAL and a shared commitment to delivering state-of-the-art training and improving care throughout HHC.

Kevin is also an experienced educator, having lectured on several topics in pre-hospital emergency medicine as well as earning and maintaining instructorships in various disciplines, such as BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS.
