Workforce1 Career Centers
Workforce1 connects employers to skilled job candidates and provides job placement services to New York City’s workforce. Workforce1 Career Centers are located throughout the five boroughs and provide job seekers with matching jobs, job preparation, and career advisement services. Anyone 18 years or older can use a Workforce1 Career Center. There are no income, citizenship, or residency requirements.

Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD)
DYCD is committed to expanding opportunities for New York City’s young people. DYCD’s youth employment programs help young people to gain workplace experience and further their education.

DYCD’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)
SYEP provides New York City youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with summer employment and educational opportunities. Participants work in a variety of entry-level jobs at government agencies, hospitals, summer camps, nonprofits, small businesses, law firms, museums, sports enterprises, and retail organizations.
