The NYC Human Resources Administration/Department of Social Services' Wellness, Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation and Employment (WeCARE) program provides a continuum of health, wellness and employment-focused services for public assistance applicants and recipients who may have medical or mental health barriers to employment. WeCARE vendors and/or their subcontractors are responsible for reporting to HRA/DSS client attendance and compliance with WeCARE services and assigned activities. Based on each client's individual needs, services range from initial assessment, wellness plans, applications for federal disability benefits, diagnostic vocational evaluation, employment preparation services including work experience, skills training, and education.
