The East River Job Center serves homeless individuals and families citywide, by conducting application interviews; executing eligibility determinations; offering employment services; affording linkages to employment; and, working collaboratively with the Department of Homeless Services (DHS), enabling enrollment in the Work Advantage, Fixed Income Advantage, Short Term Advantage, and Child Advantage Programs, designed to assist participants obtain and retain housing.
