137 Affordable Housing Rental Apartments in Central Harlem

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) announces that 137 affordable housing rental apartments are under construction at 279 West 117th Street at Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Central Harlem, Manhattan. These studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments are reserved for households with annual income ranging from very low to moderate, from $15,200 to $157,000 (incomes vary within these bounds depending on apartment size and family size). Please include a self-addressed envelope with your request. Completed applications must be returned by regular mail specifically to the post office box number that will be listed with the application, and must be postmarked by September 1, 2003.

Applications will be selected by lottery with eligible applicants residing in Manhattan Community Board No. 10 receiving priority for half of the apartments.
