Sea View Senior Housing Project Request for Qualifications

HPD IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR THIS RFQ. THE DEADLINE WAS NOVEMBER 19, 2003.

HPD in cooperation with the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select qualified developers for the Sea View Senior Housing Project in Staten Island.

The project will be developed in an existing building that is owned by the City and leased to HHC located within the 70-acre campus of Sea View Rehabilitation and Home Facility. The building will either be sold or leased to the developer through a long-term lease and then will be rehabilitated to create a senior housing project containing approximately 100 dwelling units. The project may also include the acquisition of a small adjacent building, currently owned by the City, to be rehabilitated for office and/or program uses.

The RFQ may be obtained in person from HPD at 100 Gold Street in Manhattan, Room 9-C-2 starting October 6, 2003 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You may also download the RFQ using the links below. The RFQ text is available in PDF format. The forms are provided in Microsoft Word format to facilitate their completion. Respondents who choose to download the RFQ must register online or at the telephone number listed below to receive any updates or additional communications regarding the RFQ.

A pre-submission conference will be held at 100 Gold Street, Room 1-R on October 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 4:00 p.m. on November 19, 2003.
