HPD Targeted Multifamily Portfolio Temporary Sub-grantee
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), on behalf of the City of New York, seeks to partner with a not-for-profit organization (the “Partner”) which would apply to the New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) to become a Temporary Weatherization Sub-grantee, responsible for allocating a portion of the $50,000,000 in American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) funding made available by DHCR for Targeted Multi-Family Portfolios. HPD will support the application made by the selected Partner to DHCR to become a Temporary Sub-grantee to weatherize a portfolio of HPD-assisted buildings. HPD intends to work with the Partner to facilitate the weatherization of approximately 4,000 units in its asset management portfolio. This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) has been issued to determine the eligibility of responding individuals and organizations with which to enter into a partnership.
Respondents who choose to download the RFQ at no charge must register online. A copy of the RFQ may also be obtained via mail or in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at HPD located at 100 Gold Street, New York, NY 10038. Respondents must register online at the HPD website or in person at HPD to receive any updates or additional communications regarding the RFQ.
Proposals and are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 14, 2009. Detailed instructions are provided in the RFQ.
