Livonia Avenue Initiative Phase II Request for Proposals
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) invites developers to submit proposals for a new construction project in the East New York section of Brooklyn.
The Project is the second phase of development in the Livonia Avenue Initiative, which aims to revitalize City-owned sites along Livonia Avenue in East New York and Brownsville. The Initiative seeks to transform the corridor into a vibrant mixed-use area by adding density and creating retail opportunities along Livonia Avenue while acting as a catalyst for future development, both public and private.
Interested parties that choose to download the RFP using the link below must register. Only those registered will receive any updates or additional communications regarding the RFP. The RFP contains a detailed description of the development program, requirements, guidelines, eligibility requirements, selection process, and submission requirements.
A pre-submission conference will be held at HPD, 100 Gold Street, 1R, New York, NY on April 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interested organizations are strongly encouraged to attend the conference. All proposals are due in hand no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014. Detailed instructions are provided in the RFP.
