PATIENT EDUCATION > RAPE/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRISIS PROGRAM AT QHC


The Domestic Violence/ Sexual Assault Program, Provides Crisis Intervention, Short Term Counseling, Referrals to Law Enforcement and Referral for Long Term Counseling. Coordinated with A.C.S. on Child Abuse Cases. We provide medical services including STD's Treatment, HIV Counseling and Testing, HIV Prophylaxis, collection of forensic evidence.

Social Work Staff is available Monday through Friday 9:00am-8:30pm.

In addition, our program also provides survivors with advocate services when Social work is available. Advocates provide services to survivors nights, weekends and holidays.

More than twenty Medical Providers in the Emergency Room are certified as
"Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners" - S.A.F.E., Clinical Credentials.
