Comprehensive Breast Service - The Breast Service at Queens Hospital Center combines the latest technology with cutting edge medicine to provide the full spectrum of care in benign and cancerous problems of the breast. Most patients have their diagnosis made by simple, more cosmetic and less invasive radiologic biopsy rather than surgery. The recent addition of bedside breast ultrasonography allows for a more rapid diagnosis to be made. Surgery is backed up by a full range of support services including state-of-the-art plastic surgery with reconstruction, radiation therapy and chemotherapy, when needed.
