Interpreter
Services
An employee volunteer
bank provides speakers fluent in Albanian, French, French Creole,
Romanian, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Spanish and many other languages.
American Sign Language interpreters are also available. Signs and
printed materials are presented in Albanian, English and Spanish
throughout the hospital.

Our Patient Information
staff are located in the lobby of the hospital. They provide information
about inpatients, as well as visiting hours for inpatient units.

Visitors'
Parking
Metered parking
is available on the local streets. In addition, there are two nearby
parking lots: Municipal Parking at Jerome Avenue (between Gunhill
Road and 211th Street), and the Montefiore Hospital Parking Lot
at 210th Street off Bainbridge Avenue.
Jitney
Service
Free
jitney service is provided for patients who need to travel to and
from Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital for
treatment.
Chapels
Catholic,
Protestant and Jewish chapel services are available on the 17th
floor.
Coffee
Shop
A
coffee shop is located on the first floor of hospital, offering
take-out, counter and booth service.
Complimentary
Phone Service for Patients
All
inpatients are provided with complimentary local phone service
incoming and outgoing phone calls in the 718 area are free of charge. Patient
Relations/Guest Relations
The Guest Relations office
is located on the 15th floor of our hospital. Guest Relations staff
are available to help with any problems or concerns about patient
care that patients, their families or caregivers may have. Interpreter
Services can also be requested from this office. They can be reached
