Flu Shots

Thousands of Americans die as a result of influenza each year. The most effective thing you can do to keep from catching the flu, is to get a flu shot.

HHC’s facilities have flu vaccines on hand each flu season and administer them to New Yorkers who request them. Priority is given to patients who are over 65, who have conditions that put them at risk for serious flu complications, or who are in close contact with persons at risk.  Uninsured patients will receive shots at no cost.

For more information about where you can get a flu shot, call the HHC facility nearest you listed below, or call 311.

For a list of child health clinics where pediatric patients can get a flu shot, click here or call 311.
