HHC is a United Nations of health care serving 1.3 million patients each year who speak over 100 different languages. We appreciate how the work that has been done by our community partners, the NY Immigration Coalition, Make the Road NY and the Korean Community Services, highlights the important role of language access in the provision of healthcare services. We're also pleased to see how this research validates our significant commitment and efforts to overcome cultural and linguistic barriers on behalf of our patients.
