Elmhurst Hospital celebrated the completion of their new 1,700 square-foot Computer Tomography (CT) Suite this December 4th. The CT scanner can produce detailed images of any organ in a few seconds, can scan the whole body in 30 seconds and is the first technology to provide clear non-invasive images of the heart and its major vessels. Nearly 15,000 patients can be treated annually in the new facility, receiving faster diagnoses and improved treatment.
