Public hospitals are putting new technology into service throughout New York City, bringing patienits top quality diagnostic and treatment services. Metropolitan Hospital formally inaugurated its Robot RX Pharmacy Delivery system, which the hospital utilizes for better medication safety. Kings County Hospital Center cut the ribbon for its new 6,500 square foot cardiac catheterization suite, which can provide more cardiac diagnostic services. Bellevue Hospital opened its new thoracic surgery unit where surgeons can provide operative, perioperative and critical care to patients with chest conditions.
