Metropolitan Hospital held a reception to celebrate the debut of the Patches of Hope Quilts in the hospital's new Geriatric Care Outpatient Center. The 9x9 inch individual patches were designed by staff and patients as an outpouring of love and support for cancer survivors and a remembrance of loved ones lost to the disease. Proceeds from the event were donated to the American Cancer Society.
