On February 28th, Woodhull hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for two new pieces of high-tech diagnostic equipment.
A 64-slice CT Scanner captures precise images of any area of the body in as little as ten seconds, quickly diagnosing trauma patients with chest pain or stroke symptoms. Chest exams which normally take 20 to 30 minutes can now be done in just 19 seconds and physician can see internal injuries and disease in greater detail than ever before.

| Gamma Camera |
A Dual-Head Gamma Camera, also known as a SPECT/CT Scanner, provide images of body functions to assist in diagnosing metabolic conditions, such as kidney function, thyroid function, gallbladder blockages, bone fractures, arthritis, cancer and infections.
The new equipment significantly increases Woodhull's exam capacity, which means more patients can be treated faster with greater diagnostic confidence.
