Two hospitals in the HHC family joined forces in October to raise funds for the fight against Diabetes. Staffers from Harlem Hospital and Queens Hospital met at Manhattan's South Street Seaport to walk in the October 26th event sponsored by the American Diabetes Association. Funds go to battle diabetes, a disease that now affects 700,000 New Yorkers, almost one-third of whom don't know it. More information is available on the ADA web site, www.diabetes.org .
