HHC Opens New Emergency Rooms and Level 1 Trauma Centers to Serve Harlem and the South Bronx Community

HHC celebrated the completion of two new Emergency Departments (ED) this month that together care for more than 250,000 ED visits annually. The two major modernization projects at Harlem Hospital Center and Lincoln Medical Center expand emergency room space to improve flow and efficiency in the delivery of emergency care.

Both modernization projects represent investments of more than $2 billion in facility modernizations that have been made by HHC over the last decade.
