Thirty years ago, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the first cases of people ill with the disease that came to be known as AIDS. From the beginning HHC hospitals and medical providers have been on the front lines in the battle against this devastating illness, providing testing, developing treatment plans, participating in important research and linking patients to vital care.
