The World Trade Center Environmental Health Center is dedicated to the assessment and treatment of WTC-related conditions. The WTC program, one of three Centers of Excellence in New York City, provides medical and mental healthcare to residents, students, workers, and passersby who may still be sick from 9/11. Since the early days just after the September 11 attacks, HHC medical staff have worked in collaboration with residents and community organizations to provide the community with the medical and mental health care people need and deserve. Patients can get treatment regardless of their ability to pay or immigration status. Here is a snapshot of the WTC EHC population. | | | | | | | | - 5,800 patients
