HHC walkers are getting in shape for this year's Asthma Walk on Saturday, May 22, sponsored by the American Lung Association in New York. In the past three years, HHC walkers in the "Breathe NYC" event have raised approximately $300,000 for asthma treatment and research.

HHC has particularly strengthened its pediatric asthma programs in recent years and more public hospital facilities are creating new linkages with ALA programs. The HHC blue shirts will create a stir again this year, showing HHC once more as the leading fundraising organization represented at the annual walk.
