HHC's new online tool for diabetes patients, the Diabetes Wellness Center, over the next month will feature a series of new tips and tools for diabetes care management. In the "Ask the Experts" column, Dr. Alfred Garofalo, a podiatrist, explains why proper foot care is so important to diabetic patients. A new patient "Success Story", will introduce Judith Ponce and her personal tale and triumph over Type 2 diabetes. The "Healthy Recipes" section will include a new set of delectable and nutritious dishes.
