Popular fresh fruit and vegetable stands are back this summer at a number of HHC hospital campuses. The markets, which operate from June to November, offer an assortment of regionally grown produce and support HHC’s efforts to keep communities healthy, particularly helping to prevent obesity and diabetes. Markets also provide affordable healthy dietary options for patients, employees and the local community. Markets are hosted by Jacobi Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, Metropolitan Hospital and Harlem Hospital.
