A summer’s bounty of nutritious and reasonably priced produce is arriving at a number of public hospital facilities across the city. Farmers Markets are setting up shop at HHC hospitals to promote affordable healthy dietary options for patients, employees and the local community. The markets offer an assortment of regionally grown fresh fruits and vegetables and support HHC’s efforts to keep communities healthy, particularly helping to prevent obesity and diabetes.

• Jacobi Hospital Harvest Home – Pelham Parkway South, Tuesdays through November 14.
• Lincoln Hospital Green Market – 149th Street, Tuesdays and Fridays until Nov. 20.
• Harlem Hospital Farmers Market - Lenox between 136th and 137th, Thursdays until Nov. 19.
