Times Square revelers were still celebrating the entry of 2007 at 12:10 am when, at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, Dominga Luna and Pedro Ceballos welcomed the arrival of their healthy new son, weighing 8 lbs., 9.4 ounces and measuring 21.5". The birth of the bouncing baby boy was ably assisted by nurse midwife Martha Olszewska and nurse Lizama Jacobs, as well as attending physician Dr. Ronald Phillips. Although his arrival was a few minutes too late to qualify him as first baby born in the city, we're proud to welcome him as HHC's first New Yorker of 2007. |
