They're all locations for some of the hottest movies and TV series being filmed today. HHC's new hospital buildings and atriums are in demand as backdrops for scenes in all types of settings from exciting emergency rooms to bustling airport lobbies. TV shows like "Kidnapped" and "Six Degrees" are shooting scenes at Jacobi, Coney Island Hospital provided locations for the film "We Own the Night" and Woodhull provided background for the movie "The Brave One."  We can look forward to more requests, and just in case you wondered why some facilities go through all the fuss: film fees range from $5,000 to about $20,000 per day!
