Metropolitan Hospital is conveniently located at 1901 First Avenue between 97th and 99th Streets in Manhattan. It is easily accessible by subway, bus and private transportation.

By Subway:

IRT #6 train to 96th Street. Walk east on 96th Street to 2nd Avenue and turn left one block to hospital’s entrance.

By Bus:

Bus numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 to M96 cross-town to 2nd Avenue 96th street.
Bus number M10, CPW to 96th Street to M96 cross town to 2nd Avenue and 96th Street.
Bus number M15 to 2nd Avenue and 96th Street.
Bus number M101, 102, 103 to 96th Street and Third Avenue.

By Car:

FDR Drive North bound and South bound. Exit 96th Street and proceed to 97th Street and First Avenue.

From the Bronx:
Major Deegan (87) South or Bruckner Expressway (287) West to Triborough Bridge to FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street and turn right. Metropolitan is between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

From Queens:
Triborough Bridge West Bound to 125th Street exit to FDR Drive Manhattan Bound. Exit on 96th Street and proceed to 97th Street and First Avenue.

From Brooklyn:
Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge of Williamsburg Bridge to FDR Drive Northbound. Exit at 96th Street. Turn Left. Metropolitan is located between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

From Westchester County:
Hutchinson River Parkway, New England Thruway (95) to Bruckner Expressway to Triborough Bridge to FDR Drive Southbound. Exit at 96th Street and turn left. Metropolitan is located between 1st and 2nd Avenues.

Public Parking:
There are parking lots between 2nd and 3rd Avenues and on 1st Ave. at 97th Street for a nominal fee and metered parking spaces surrounding the hospital.
