Cumberland Diagnostic and Treatment Center has been healing the residents of Fort Greene and the surrounding Brooklyn Community for more than a century. Cumberland is concerned with the health of Brooklynites of all ages. Annual back-to-school immunization campaigns, two school-based health programs and even a reading program, Reach Out And Read, see to the health needs of students, while the Geriatric Expo serves senior citizens.

Sobriety, self-sufficiency and reunification of the family are top priorities.
Cumberland also offers a cutting-edge mammography unit, a Breast-Feeding Peer Counseling Program, parenting Education Classes and a playroom for children whose parents are receiving care.
