The HHC Connectx Community
Physician Advisory Committee invited community physicians to a CME session
on improving work flow and processes in the provider practice setting. More than 80 attendees learned about how to
implement clinical information systems in their practice, the session provided
methodology and tools on how to make transitioning to electronic
systems smooth and improve patient care and outcomes. In addition, a
comprehensive overview of clinical information programs was offered.

CME session was conducted by L. Gordon Moore MD who leads the
Ideal Medical Practices Movement and Ideal Health of Brighton. He is a faculty
member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in the domain of office
practice redesign, and is a Clinical Associate Professor with the University of
Rochester Departments of Family Medicine and Community and Preventive
Medicine.
