Spicy Roasted Salmon
4 servings/ serving size: 4 ounces

A sweet, spicy rub perks up this salmon, it's easy to make and simply delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
  • 4 (5-ounce) salmon filets

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the spices and rub over the salmon. Place the salmon in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
