Pathology and Audiology Department
At Coler Goldwater, the role of the speech-language
pathologist is to assess communication impairments, diagnose the severity of the
problems and implement a treatment plan to help individuals regain as much of
their communications skills as possible. Innovative and comprehensive diagnostic,
rehabilitative and counseling services are made available to patients who suffer
from speech, language, cognition, hearing and/or swallowing impairments. Treatment
modalities may include individual and/or group therapy, computer assisted treatment,
and augmented communication assistance training.
