Psychiatric Department

ColerGoldwater's Department of Psychiatry provides psychiatric care for our patients'/residents' cognitive, emotional and spiritual needs in an atmosphere of caring and respect .

Beginning with the initial assessment, the department's staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and activity therapists, provides ongoing individual and group therapies to treat the effects of chronic illness and injury. Programs like smoking cessation and education, cognitive remediation and biofeedback have been especially effective. We make an ongoing effort to develop programs that address the special needs of our patients/residents.
