Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

This program specializes in the care of patients with post-acute surgical or medical cardiac needs, including post-cardiac surgery, post-myocardial infarction, post-heart failure/shock and post-endocarditis. Our team of specialists can assist patients/residents with their rehabilitative care, as appropriate to each individual, including physical and occupational therapy, psychological counseling, social work/discharge planning, education in stress management, exercise physiology, pulmonary function testing, therapeutic recreation and speech and audiology. We can happily say that our program has successfully reduced the length of stay, while continuing to meet the goals of each patient/resident.
