"Made in NY" Marketing Credit

New York City’s “Made in NY” Marketing Credit program offers qualified film and television productions with free co-branded advertising opportunities in the #1 media market in the country. “Made in NY” productions are projects where at least 75% of the film was produced in New York City.

Media packages offered to qualified productions vary depending on the below-the-line budget:

TIER 1: Below-the-line budget of $10M or more	Qualifies for: • Up to 40 bus shelters (4 week run) • Up to 500 subway cards (4 week run) • :30 PSA on NYC Channel in 13K+ cabs Production covers the cost of printing bus shelters and subway cards
TIER 2: Below-the-line budget between $5M - $10M	Qualifies for: • Up to 40 bus shelters (4 week run) • Up to 500 subway cards (4 week run) •:30 PSA on NYC Channel in 13K+ cabs MOME covers the cost of printing bus shelters and subway cards
TIER 3: Below-the-line budget of less than $5M	Qualifies for: • Up to 20 bus shelters (4 week run) • Up to 250 subway cards (4 week run) • :30 PSA on NYC Channel in 13K+ cabs MOME covers the cost of printing bus shelters and subway cards

The credit is available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.

Participants in this program are required to co-brand all creatives with the “Made in NY” logo. Participants in this program are also required to provide a donation to a cultural institution as identified by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. For projects with below-the-line budgets of less than $10M, the donation will be equal to .1% of a production’s below-the-line spend. If a production’s below-the-line spend is over $10M, the donation is fixed at $10K.
