Parks

For filming in city parks, please visit Parks Film Shoot Request Form and complete online form. Your request will be routed to the appropriate individual park manager. Please allow at least 48 hours for park manager to respond to your request. Once park manager has approved your shoot, submit OFTB online permit referencing park manager who provided approval.

Please Note: Location requests within some specific parks are handled directly through a Conservancy group and require a separate application process. If the Park you would like to film in is listed below, please visit their website for further instructions.

Battery Park City
Brooklyn Bridge Park
Bryant Park
Central Park
Hudson River Park
Prospect Park

Please note:

Due to renovations resulting from Hurricane Sandy, Coney Island, Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach are currently unavailable for filming. The Parks Department estimates that filming requests for Coney Island Beach, including the boardwalk, and Brighton Beach, including the boardwalk, can begin to be fielded in June. Filming requests for Manhattan Beach will be fielded later this summer.
