May 5, 2014 - Internet Week New York returns with a full line-up of events celebrating technology’s place in daily life. The festival runs from May 19-25 with 250 events happening at IWNY HQ as well as others organized by citywide event partners.
Internet Week supports New York’s vibrant tech-based economy and celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and global impact of technology on business, entertainment and culture. The festival highlights the innovators building the new economy and creating opportunity, while educating and empowering attendees to succeed. IWNY will include everything from industry specific events to those centered around business, arts and culture, entertainment, startups, and more.
Internet Week has grown from a few events that took place in 2008 when it was first founded by representatives from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences in cooperation with the City of New York and the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.
