April 2, 2014 - New and returning plays on Broadway start performances in April as the theatrical season comes to a close.
Now in previews at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, Casa Valentina, Harvey Fierstein’s new play, follows a group of men, who enjoy dressing up as women in the Catskills, faced with a decision about going public with their alter egos.
Family drama comes to an explosive head when Estelle Parsons and Stephen Spinella play a mother and son battling it out over where the mother will live as she gets older in The Velocity of Autumn. Previews are currently underway at the Booth Theatre.
Daniel Radcliffe returns to Broadway in The Cripple of Inishmaan as an isolated young man who dreams of a better life thanks to a movie being filmed nearby. Performances begin April 12 at the Cort Theatre.
